Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party Central Executive Council Meeting Held in Hyderabad Under the Chairmanship of Dr. Qadir Magsi

Hyderabad (Press Release):
The central executive council meeting of the Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party (STP) was held in Hyderabad under the chairmanship of Dr. Qadir Magsi. The meeting discussed in detail the current political situation, the 27th Constitutional Amendment, possible threats to Sindh’s unity and resources, the repatriation of Afghan refugees, and strategies for the upcoming local government elections.

Senior Vice Chairman Jam Abdul Fattah Samejo, Gulzar Soomro, Haider Shahani, Nisar Kherio, Hot Khan Gadahi, Dr. Abdul Hameed Memon, Qadir Channa, Dr. Ahmed Noonari, Imtiaz Samoon, Dr. Somar Mangrio, Haider Mallah, Khuda Bux Dars, Jam Shoukat Abro, Gautam Channa, Sehr Rizvi, Ijaz Samtio, Khair Muhammad Magsi, Dr. Mazhar Memon, Athar Shah, and other central leaders, along with district presidents, general secretaries, and divisional leaders from across Sindh, participated in large numbers.

Dr. Qadir Magsi: Sindh Will Never Accept Any Conspiracy Against Its Unity

Addressing the meeting, Dr. Qadir Magsi said that Pakistan is a multi-national country, and each national unit joined the federation of its own free will; therefore, the country must be run according to the principles of equality, justice, and autonomy as promised at the time of its creation. He said Sindh is a land of thousands of years of civilization, history, and culture — not merely a piece of land, but the homeland of 70 million Sindhis — and that the people of Sindh will never accept any conspiracy against its unity.

Rulers’ Corruption and Mismanagement Have Trapped Sindh in Poverty

The STP Chairman said that God Almighty has blessed Sindh with abundant natural resources, yet due to the rulers’ corruption, mismanagement, and wrong policies, the rightful heirs of Sindh remain trapped in hunger, disease, and unemployment. He warned that if, under the guise of the 27th Constitutional Amendment, any attack is made on Sindh’s resources, boundaries, or autonomy, the people of Sindh will resist such a conspiracy with full strength.

Separate High and Supreme Courts Should Be Established in Each Province

Dr. Magsi said that while the establishment of a Constitutional Court is a positive step, separate High Courts and Supreme Courts should also be established in every province so that justice and law become more accessible and effective. He added that if the 27th Amendment is being used to establish monarchical rule and grant immunity from accountability, then such a move is deeply wrong and will damage democracy and promote corruption.

PPP Betrayed Sindh; People Still Deprived of Basic Needs

Dr. Magsi said that the rulers’ wrong decisions are threatening national unity and stability, increasing a sense of deprivation in smaller provinces. He stated that although the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) came to power through Sindh’s votes, it has betrayed the Sindhi people. The ordinary citizens of Sindh are still deprived of water, healthcare, education, and employment, while corrupt rulers continue to loot public resources.

Settlement of Outsiders in Sindh Aimed at Erasing National Identity

The STP Chairman warned that a well-planned scheme is underway to settle outsiders on Sindh’s lands and resources to erase Sindh’s national identity, but the conscious people of Sindh will never allow such a conspiracy to succeed. He criticized the PPP’s negligence in repatriating Afghan refugees, saying that Sindh is suffering the dangerous consequences of illegal settlements.

Feudal and Landlord Class Always Supported Anti-Sindh Forces

Dr. Magsi said that the feudal and landlord class imposed on Sindh has always been an ally of anti-Sindh forces, and the federal parties merely represent these vested interests. He emphasized that until the working and poor classes gain power, Sindh’s fate will not change.

STP to Field Public Candidates in Upcoming Local Body Elections

Dr. Magsi instructed the party leadership to make full preparations for the upcoming local body elections, ensuring that public-oriented candidates stand against landlords, feudal lords, and corrupt rulers to defend the people’s genuine rights.

STP to Hold Sindh Martyrs’ Day Gathering in Karachi on December 14

The meeting unanimously decided to hold a grand and historic gathering in Karachi on December 14 to commemorate Sindh Martyrs’ Day (Youm-e-Shuhada-e-Sindh), where tributes will be paid to the martyrs of Sindh.

Commitment to Intensify Struggle for Sindh’s Rights

At the conclusion of the meeting, it was resolved that the Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party will intensify its political, organizational, and public struggle to protect Sindh’s unity, resources, and national rights, and expand the movement in an organized manner to every district, city, and village of Sindh.
